Obama consorts with terrorists and betrayed Rev. Wright

Rush clings desperately to the failed BS of trying to somehow make Obama guilty “by association” (ooopsie, that’s so McCarthyite - big theme this morning!)

He is going to try to still link Obama to...

Van Jones - expressed some statements from long ago that he says are taken out of context in ways that do not reflect his views then or now; in any case, in recent years has proven himself well qualified for the position he was pressured out of. Oh, by the way, he’s black.

Rev. Jeremiah Wright - is not a radical, racist preacher. In 20 years of sermons, Republicans were able to find four different clips that, when taken out of context, were made to look racist or anti-American. (For example, the statement about "chickens coming home to roost" after 9/11 was a sermon showing that America, with a history of slavery and foreign hegemony, was flawed, BUT it went on as a message of hope and redemption, that God had a plan for being forgiven of sins and doing better in the future - not nearly as offensive as Jerry Falwell blaming 9/11 on liberals). Obama was not in the church on any of those four occasions. Obama knew Wright as a religious teacher, NOT a political adviser.

I’ve got the complete text to all four sermons and am ready to go at it with ya....

Bill Ayers - No connection to Obama (who was 10 years old and in Hawaii during his political protests); Never convicted of ANYTHING. No “close association” to Obama.

Tony Rezko - was convicted of some illegal real estate deals.
He was a Realtor. Not everything he did was illegal; NO EVIDENCE of any involvement by Obama in any illegal deal

Shall we start going over some of the associations, much more recent, between top Republicans and corrupt people?

Rush proves he has nothing on issues, so is going throw as much mud as he can and see if he can get any to stick.

Say, how’d that strategy work out for ya all in that last election?
You just keep it up!

Sorry Rush, Obama did not throw Rev. Wright over the side of the ship - Reverend Wright did the noble thing and, seeing the damage Obama’s justified loyalty was doing to Obama, fell on his sword. On a Friday evening, he went on the show of Bill Moyer’s, a fellow ordained minister of the same denomination, and gave a reasoned, heartfelt, rational interview putting these things into rational perspective.

Then, Wright shifted gears.
He went on show after show after show and made such outrageous, outlandish comments that it FORCED Obama to cut him loose, and allowed him to win the election.

As for Ayers, yes, he “confessed” to being an active, aggressive protester.
HE DID NOT “CONFESS” to any TERRORIST acts such as bombings.
In fact, he said he didn’t do enough (protests).

Do you understand ANYTHING about the law and this case?
HE NEVER FACED A JURY, meaning that he could still be tried for this crime without going through “double jeopardy” if he were to admit to it.

Please cite for me the exact, verifiable source, with a link, where he ever confessed to BOMBINGS or DOMESTIC TERRORISM. And please spare me the oft-cited quote from the New York Times in which conservatives took two of his NON CONSECUTIVE sentences and put them together to make it look like he said that.

I understand that is a favorite ploy of conservatives but all it proves is YOUR OWN DESPERATION.

Give the full reference, the full source, and the full exact statement or
ADMIT YOU CAN’T.

All you have is name calling and character assassination.
NO ISSUES.
