Lower taxes on the wealthy will revitalize capitalism in America

Rush Limbaugh represents more conservative BACKWARDS LAND delusional thinking if he asserts that “revitalizing” capitalism means lower taxes for the rich.

He does not have a clue about how capitalism works.

It works because CONSUMERS BUY STUFF, create demand, so businesses (small or large) produce stuff.

Einstein reportedly defined insanity as doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.

We have tried the conservative “trickle down” over and over and the result is always the same: economic collapse.

Yes, I do agree that “A capitalistic system that rewards ingenuity and innovation” is “the best method of increasing a nation’s standard of living.”

But history and real-world experience have universally shown that the way to re-energize capitalism is not to just give tax breaks for the rich but to make consumers confident in the marketplace, and workers protected enough and with enough money in their pockets that they can become those confident consumers.

This occurs by establishing that protective regulatory framework that allows the system to function.
