Health Care reform should not be a public policy issue

Rush is obviously broadcasting from some other alternative universe, cuz she sure has no connection to reality in this one!

Earth to Rush: the reason Healthcare Reform became a public policy issue is because health care FAILED when greedy corporate bureaucrats decided the best way to make the most profiteering of the suffering and deaths of consumers was to refuse to deliver the coverage they sold them at those outrageous prices!

While this nation was founded on personal liberty (freedom; CHOICE) and NOT on the ECONOMIC theory of capitalism, moderate Democrats would agree that we support capitalism and that, with PROPER REGULATORY OVERSIGHT, it is what works best for most; always has and always will.

Allowing corporate bureaucrats to run roughshod and unregulated over consumer rights is what caused the problem, in the same way that eliminating traffic rules or rules of sports would make it impossible to drive safely or engage in organized competition.

You don’t want to pay for those who can’t afford necessary lifesaving care?

You also don’t want to pay for those who can’t afford necessary law enforcement or fire protection?

Since when did PROPERTY protection take a higher priority than HUMAN LIFE?

Oh, in the greedy, mean-spirited world of conservatism.
