Dems criticized HW Bush speech to children, no different than our criticism of Obama

Righto, Let It Be, Rush. You are missing the REASON for Democratic criticism. It was not about giving a speech. No Democrat or any one else told their kids to stay home for the Bush speech or all the other lies said about the Obama speech before the text was even known.

The much milder and far more civilized Democratic criticism was because HW Bush was gearing up to run for reelection and using it as a POLITICAL prop.

In contrast, Obama is more than 3 years away from reelection.

And, in any case, now that the REPUBLICANS have established that policy as a clear precedent from both Reagan and Bush, for them to whine and cry and lie and throw tantrums now is awfully hypocritical.
