Rush, I'm still waiting for evidence to support your claim that I want to find racism where there is none. I suspect I'll never see that evidence.
If you look at my posts going back to the beginning, here's what you will find. I asserted that with your constant contentions that Obama was an "affirmative action baby" and that this accounted for everything he accomplished at Harvard was racist. It is. Since you, Rush, made no such claims (nor demanded equivalent proof of accomplishment) from any other candidate.
I stand by this, and I think the evidence is overwhelmingly strong. I asserted that when (who was it? I don't recall) one of your listeners said that Prof. Gates should've been shot because he was an uppity crud, that this smacked of being a racist remark. I stand by that evaluation of the remark.
Racism still exists in America, that it's part of our heritage, and that it is often wise to be SUSPICIOUS of its presence in the background of our thinking and behavior. In other words, other than those two, I have called no one a racist, but have said that it is not impossible for racist elements to exist in many situations, considering our national history and character.
