ACORN is Obama's organization

As usual, Rush proves himself to be both dishonest and hypocritical.

Dishonest because he calls ACORN “Obama’s” organization. It is not. Republicans, including John McCain who was keynote speaker for a Feb 2006 ACORN rally in Miami, have far deeper and more recent ties.

In contrast, the ONLY connection to Obama is that, long ago (14 years), as a STAFF ATTORNEY at a law firm, he did some work on their account, on which he wasn’t even the lead attorney!

Please, Rush, back up your claims or apologize for LYING.

Please show us the exact number of government contracts awarded to ACORN during the Bush years, and compare with the number during the Obama years.

NONE were added during the Obama years, but even before the latest scandal involving INDIVIDUALS, not official organizational policy, several contracts had been canceled.
AFTER the latest revelations, additional contracts have been cut and, acting IMMEDIATELY, investigations ordered.

Additionally, ACORN responded IMMEDIATELY, not by transferring the guilty to other offices, but by FIRING THEM and aggressively moving to investigate and restructure to prevent such abuses.

Hypocritical because he only singles out organizations whose primary membership consists of minorities and whose services are primarily directed toward minorities.

Until I hear conservatives demanding that all funding of “charities” by the Catholic Church, with its decades-long OFFICIAL POLICIES protecting child molesters, including still to this day harboring in the Vatican the known ringleader of the infamous Boston Archdiosese Molestation Protection Ring, Cardinal Bernard Law (or OUTLaw), his comments are nothing more than birther/deather/twelfther/secret Muslim garbage we are used to getting instead of serious discussion.
