Several Republicans this morning (Adrienne Doll and Robert Green) express their disappointment with the deterioration of the modern Republican Party, and Rush Limbaugh and Michael Savage step up to the loonie-plate to show why.
Glenn Beck is back in there with the ACORN silliness. What is the relevance of ACORN?
Trying to pin that on Obama, who did a bit of staff legal work for them through his law firm 14 years ago (compared to McCain who was a keynote speaker for an ACORN event in 2006 and spoke glowingly of them)? Trying to misrepresent an overall organization based on the actions of a few? Trying to tie it to the Obama administration? Tell ya what, Stanley, why don’t you show us a list of all the new ACORN contracts with the Federal government since Obama took office.
Ooopsie? Can’t? Only find contracts that have been CANCELED?
Only find contracts signed by the Bush administration?
And Lou Dobbs is going to try to revive the Wright, Ayers, Dohrn, Rezko baloney that was so, so successful in last year’s elections! And the doozie? I’m just waiting for Horwitz to clarify the close relationship he ascribes between Obama and Alinsky, since Alinsky died shortly before Obama’s 11th birthday, while he was still in Hawaii. Amazing!
No wonder all the rational Republicans are rapidly fleeing this den of deteriorating sanity, leaving a small but shrill core of raving loonies.
But keep up the good work, birthers, deathers, twelfthers, secret Muslims and other loonies, and you will ensure that Republicans never again win another national election.
