Obama is not about change. Joe Wilson is not a racist.

Rush, if Obama is not a change, why did we not see protests before?

Some answer, "it's the straw that broke the camel's back". I don't buy this. The protesters are full of real rage and Obama adding one straw does not take one from a no-protest position to a raging protest position.

Also, if, Obama's not bringing the change he promised was the issue, then it would the people who voted FOR him that would be protesting, not followers of the right wing talking heads.

John McCain's supporters were the ones that didn't want change, remember? They voted for 'stay the course' McCain.

I am disappointed in many things Obama is doing and not doing (not re-instituting Fairness Doctrine, not fighting for health care reform sooner and harder).

However, I do detect a thread of racism in those that are oppose him with such fervor. Not all by any means.

I've very consistently said that I do NOT believe that all opponents of Obama are racists.

As for Wilson, his supporters ARE fooled, but not by the 'racist' chatter from the left. They are fooled into pretending that Wilson is not a racist. You look at his record, it speaks for itself. Seems like even you are pretending that Wilson is just an average nice non-racist who thinks (erroneously) that Obama was lying.
