Let Exxon run U.S. health care
Exxon has an outstanding record of creating huge profits from oil that has been proven to be dangerous to the global community. If you believe their PR and marketing statements, you'd think they really cared about the environment and their customers.
Exxon has a history of making money and lying to its customers. I think that we should turn health care over to Exxon.
First, they would merge with all of the major health care insurers in the country -- that would cut costs and further monopolize the industry, not good for patients but extremely profitable.
Second, they would hire additional PR and marketing professionals to create new myths similar to the stuff being spread around by health insurance lackeys and other right wing types ... at town hall meetings recently that try to discount Obama's health care plan.
Third, they would take over the majority of hospitals in the country and dole out health care following the corporate principles that made them so successful over the decades.
Finally, they would exclude from their health care services congressmen, senators, state legislators, the military, Medicare recipients and veterans, who already have government-sponsored health care that actually works.
Write to your representatives today.
