Save our country, take to the streets

In so many countries, people take to the streets. They march, risking their lives or jail time, to vote, to have their votes counted, to oust oppressive regimes, to promote fair wages and working conditions.

Not here.

Our brave teabaggers march so that they are taxed a little less. So that tens of millions of their neighbors continue to have no health care.

Isn't it ironic. Our core value, a government 'of, by, and for the people' is something Americans are protesting against, insisting that their lives be dominated by the "freedom" of the free market and the lobbyists.
